Curfew was imposed in 8 districts by calling the army on behalf of the Modi government. According to the Indian media, the violent incidents intensified in Imphal, the capital of the state of Manipur, and the angry people started attacking each other's houses.several houses were set on fire while the properties of the opponents are also being damaged.There are also reports of several people being burnt and injured in Jala Oghira. Due to the bad situation in Manipur, the government has called the army in the state while curfew has been imposed in the most affected 8 districts. Internet service was also suspended for 5 days in most areas while gatherings were completely banned.
