The Egyptian Ministry of Endowments announced the extension of the suspension of the gathering of prayers for gathering and groups in mosques, while completely closing them until the bug of the closure ended, in the framework of combating the spread of the Corona epidemic.
"If the consensus of health experts is that the most dangerous gatherings are the most dangerous means of transmitting the infection of the Coronavirus virus, with the increasing number of people who die due to it, the payment of the expected death as a result of any gathering becomes a legitimate requirement," said Egyptian Minister of Endowments, Mohamed Mokhtar Jumaa.
The Ministry of Awqaf had referred a number of imams for investigation in several areas due to violating its decision and establishing some prayers en masse, and canceled work permits of a number of other violators because of its decision to suspend the group’s prayers for two weeks.
The Sheikh of Al-Azhar also disrupted the group’s prayers in the Al-Azhar mosque for two weeks to deal with the spread of the epidemic.
