Abu Dhabi (UrduPoint News Agency-15 April 2020) Dubai World Trade Center has been turned into a hospital in the wake of the Corona virus. Up to 3,000 beds can be set up and the aim is to expand the facilities for corona treatment.
The director general of Dubai Health Authority says that there are 4 to 5 thousand beds available in hospitals in Dubai. It is being prepared to carry up to 10 thousand. Two more field hospitals will be ready in the coming days to deal with this. Mobile test centers have also been set up in different parts of Dubai to speed up the Corona virus program.
In addition, 32,000 tests are being conducted through the recently launched drive throw testing, while there are also numerous testing laboratories. Dubai authorities are very active in preventing Corona in the country.
Curfew is also imposed across the country in this regard. There are nearly 5,000 cases of corona virus in the UAE and 28 people have lost their lives. So far the casualties include UAE and foreigners. Two days ago, the highest number of 412 cases were reported in the United Arab Emirates in one day. Lockdown has been implemented in all areas of the UAE due to the spread of the Corona virus.
